Specialized Foster Care

Frequently Asked Questions about Foster Care | Foster Care Form

Family Service Specialized Foster Care Program identifies stable, loving homes for children and teens of all ages who are unable to live with their biological families. Children referred to this foster care program are often victims of abuse and neglect and have special emotional needs.

As with any type of child rearing, foster parenting is life-changing, challenging and rewarding. Foster parents open their hearts and homes to children by providing a safe, nurturing family environment. They serve as primary caregivers until reunification with the biological family is possible. Placement may be as brief as a few weeks or last until a permanent home is secured.

If you are able to provide a safe, stable and loving home for children and teens, consider becoming a specialized foster family.
