benefits include flexible work schedule (where applicable), and
on-site trainings and workshops, many of which provide continuing
education units for accredited professionals.

Health-Hospitalization Insurance
Available to all benefit eligible employees (Active full time
and part time 25+hrs./week) after the first of the month following
30 days of service. The plan offers three choices of either
two POS (Point of Service) plan or Direct Access of Horizon
network of providers of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The agency provides for the majority of the premium and shares
the remaining costs with the participant.
Dental-Guardian
(Active full time and part time 20+hrs./week)
after the first of the month following 30 days of service. Full
indemnity plan.
Pension-403(b)
(Active full time and part time 20+hrs./week).
Eligible to participate first pay period following date of hire.
The Agency contributes at your one year anniversary.
Life Insurance
(Active full time and part time 20+hrs./week)
Eligible first of the month following 60 days of service. Agency
pays premium for 1x annual salary. Employee may purchase additional
life insurance for themselves, spouse and dependents.
Vacation
Accrual after 6 months from date of hire
1st year 10 days
2nd year 15 days
3rd year 20 days maximum (based on 35+hrs/wk)
Sick Leave
Full time staff working thirty-five hours per week receive seventy
(70) hours of sick leave per year. Part-time employees working
twenty (20) or more hours per week receive prorated sick leave
benefits.
Credit Union
Garden State Federal Credit Union provides various financial
services.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Medical reimbursement and dependent day care accounts available
on a calendar year basis.
Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit of paycheck available.
Travel Allowance
40 cents per mile
Tuition Assistance
Eligible employees who have completed one year of service may
receive up to $800 per calendar year for approved coursework.
