Housing Development

A Chance for Change…

Everyone deserves a decent affordable home to live, build a life and enjoy a future. Unfortunately, “affordable” and “housing” are words that often do not belong together, especially for those with special needs. Family Service understands that it is essential to provide housing that is not only safe, permanent and affordable, but also accessible to a range of community resources and transportation.

New Opportunities

Affordable housing provides an important foundation for the economic and social well-being of individuals, families, and the communities in which they live. Through ongoing outreach to new funding sources and communities, Family Service will continue providing a chance for change with the service and community supports to make these efforts permanent.

Types of Housing:

  • Permanent supportive housing
  • Group homes
  • Supported apartments
  • Transitional emergency housing
  • Intensive supportive housing for adults transitioning out of hospitals
