Family Service History

Today more than 60 programs provide essential services to children, adults and families throughout southern and central New Jersey. Annually, over 800 full and part-time staff members honor, encourage and value diversity. We strive to support each person’s ability to achieve their potential, regardless of their ability to pay.

Hundreds of volunteers, the Friends of Family Service, contribute their time, expertise, energy and enthusiasm in support of mutual goals. Family Service staff advocate on behalf of families, working in partnership with them to identify areas that need strengthening, increasing each person's potential to make healthy choices.

2008 marked our 40th anniversary. Looking forward, with the support of the community, we plan to continue the tradition of offering hope through excellent care.
