Family Service is a private, non-profit community agency serving the behavioral healthcare needs of children, individuals and families in central and southern New Jersey.

Four questions you might be wondering about Family Service!
- Are you a state or county agency?
NO. Family Service is a private, non-profit agency. We do receive funding from the state of New Jersey, Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders and generous private donors. - Do you provide services outside of Burlington County?
Yes! Family Service’s roots are based in Burlington County, however over the past 40 years, we have added over 55 programs and expanded into nine different counties throughout southern and central New Jersey; Hence, the name change from “Family Service of Burlington County” to “Family Service”! - How are individuals referred to our Agency?
Physicians, United Way 211, Board of Social Services, all state providing agencies (i.e. Division of Youth and Family Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities, etc.), self and/or family referral through our Access Center Line, 1800-963-3377. - Must you fall below the poverty level or have a limited income to access services?
No! While we provide services on a sliding sale to accommodate individuals with limited means, Family Service’s goal is to provide services whenever needed no matter the income of the consumer.
